Methodology is Sysmex chemiluminescence enzyme immunoassay (CLEIA) and Roche electrochemiluminescence immunoassay (ECLIA). Labcorp test code 484400.

Specimen Requirements
Specimen Type: Plasma
Container: LAVENDER TOP TUBE (EDTA)
Volume: 3.00mL

Collection Requirements: Collect two (2) full LAV EDTA tubes. Centrifuge and separate the plasma into 2 transport tubes within 40 minutes of collection. Testing will not be performed if only 1 plasma aliquot is received.
Storage and Transport: Store frozen at less than -60°C within 24 hours of collection. Ship on dry ice. SP staff: Do not ship to Labcorp on Friday or prior to a public holiday. Stability is 4 hours at room temp, 10 hours refrigerated, and frozen -10°C for 24 hours or less than -60°C for 100 days. Stable only 1 freeze/thaw cycle. Causes for rejection: Sample at room temperature; thawed sample; only one tube of plasma sent.
