Currently, for steroid hormone testing, Dynacare uses the Becton Dickinson (BD) Vacutainer SST Tube (5mL, gold top). In March 2025, Dynacare will transition to the BD Vacutainer Serum Tube (5mL, red top) which does not contain a serum separator gel.
