As an organization that lives its values, Dynacare is proud to come together to support communities. That's why the
Community Outreach Program was created to promote health and wellness, as well as build stronger communities in Canada and abroad. Through the program, Dynacare provides monetary support to charitable organizations or services in the areas where their employees live and work.
At the end of 2019, Dynacare selected four inspiring charities that – in addition to other important initiatives – provide programs designed to promote health, hope and a sense of community for young Canadians in particular. Here is a brief overview of the important work being done by each of these incredible organizations.
Four Fantastic Charities
London-based
Growing Chefs! Ontario provides interactive cooking and food literacy programs that promote healthy eating and empower thousands of children, youth and families throughout London, Ont. and the surrounding area. Dynacare is donating $2,500 to support the
School Food Education Project, which delivers critical food education programming – including lessons on agriculture, culinary skills and the impact of food choices – to over 6,000 elementary school students.
Hope Air is the only national charity that provides free flights to Canadians from disadvantaged families who must travel far from home to access medical care. Dynacare is donating $2,500 to support
Children’s Flights, which focus specifically on helping children from these families in need of medical care to reach appointments that require air travel.

CancerCare Manitoba Foundation helps provide care for patients living with cancer and their families throughout Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario and Nunavut by providing support for the provincial cancer agency CancerCare Manitoba. Dynacare is donating $2,500 to support
Teens Living with Cancer, the only peer support group for teens living with cancer or rare blood disorders in Manitoba. This important program will provide opportunities for young patients to socialize, connect and share their feelings in an open and safe environment.
AboutFace supports Canadians of all ages affected by facial differences by providing programs that empower and encourage while raising public awareness about this wide range of conditions. Dynacare is donating $2,500 to support
Camp Trailblazers, a camp program that provides children with facial differences with opportunities to socialize, get active and be part of an entire community of support. This year, the program will be offered in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Novia Scotia.
